Gwyneth and husband Christ are adopting

Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are thinking about adopting soon. Gwyneth spoke in favor of adoption while attending Madonna’s Malawi benefit last week.
“People who have a lot also often feel like they have a lot to give. I have a good friend who always says that if you’re a person of means at all, then you have to adopt because there are so many kids in the world who need homes.”
However, the couple is thinking of a local adoption - probably somewhere in NYC - instead of an international adoption that is popular with celebs like Angeline Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, and also Madonna herself.
“we might get one from Brooklyn. No baby is more helpless than another baby. And I’m a New York girl.”
“We might get one”? She acts like kids are something you go out and buy. I guess when you’re adopting you are actually paying for the kid…wait, that’s just like legalized slavery!
