Ashlee Simpson was on The Fuse yesterday where she denied rumors that she’s pregnant and engaged to boyfriend Pete Wentz. She says that Pete has given her a promise ring and as she explained, “It just means that he hasn’t asked my dad yet…“. No wonder he hasn’t asked her father - he banned Pete from spending the holidays with the family! Not exactly a “ask me and I’ll give you blessing” kind of move.
I think it’s kind of sweet that Pete gave her someting like a committment ring to remember him by, but does this really show that Pete is afraid to be tied down? Is he afraid to comitt to Ashlee in the long run? One can only wonder.
