Kate Hudson and her gorgeous blond curls enjoyed a day out with ex-husband Chris Robinson and their son Ryder while going for a brisk walk in Manhattan on Monday.  Kate keeps her relationship with Chris as positive as it can get for the sake of their son Ryder.

HUDSON said that even when a “romantic relationship” does not work out, a “family one still can”, the Metro reports.

“Chris and I did not look at this from the beginning as any kind of traditional marriage: it’s about being a family for ever – and we are,” she remarked.

“Whatever man I end up with, I will always love Chris,” she added.

I’m glad that even though things didn’t work out between her and Chris, they can still be civil about it and get along for the sake of their child together.  Not many instances like this happen anymore, things usually end bitterly (especially in Hollywood).
