Fergie sat down with Glamour Magazine to talk about her relationship with Josh Duhamel and the couple’s wedding plans.
On how Josh proposed…
I can’t tell! One of my New Year’s resolutions is not to talk about Josh and me so much. I know. I can’t spill everything, because we made a pact to keep it sacred, just because so many relationships today are exploited. When you give people so much, you don’t have anything left for yourself. But I am thrilled. I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl in the world. But it’s early on. The ring is still too big
But Fergie is not just in it for the looks. Josh once said that if they were in high school Fergie would be “too hot” for him to date.
Oh, please! It’s interesting: He’s so great-looking–everybody knows that. But that’s sonot the reason that I’m with him. I’ve dated many different types. I was all over the map. For me, it was learning about being attracted to the right things in a person, not the wrong things….
When asked about the color of her wedding dress, Fergie left a lot to the imagination!
I don’t know. Knowing me, I’ll wear black. Or maybe I’ll wear red and be a harlot! [Laughs.]
For some reason it bugs me when brides don’t wear white. I don’t know why, I guess it’s their wedding, but it’s tradition! I just think it’s great to have some things from the past kept sacred.
