Avril Lavigne jetted out of the Los Angeles International Airport on Friday looking like a true rocker.  But Avril hasn’t always been that hard core.  She admits that when she was younger her mother forced her to see Britney Spears in concert!

“My mom made me go to a Britney Spears concert when I was young. And I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to!’ she was like, ‘You’re going to be a performer, you need to see other people.’ “

Man, that really stinks - especially since Avril isn’t into that kind of music.  Usually people who go to Britney Spears’s concerts want to go, for whatever reason I don’t know.  Hopefully her mom paid for the ticket!
